Katie A. began a career specializing in Fitness and Recreation Certified as a Primary Group Exercise Instructor (afaa.com) and Personal Trainer (acefitness.org) guiding participants towards optimal health, the first wealth. As a youth Katie was voted as an "All State" athlete and "Most Inspirational Player" (See Basic Trainings on the 'Sessions Descriptions and Pricing' Page). At the age of eighteen she began a career in Environmental Management (see Adventure Yoga on the 'Sessions, Descriptions and Pricing' Page), attended Uni. and began teaching Yoga (See Deeper Dimensions on the 'Sessions Descriptions and Pricing' Page) thereafter. Kathryn's experiences with Yoga, the environment, fitness and recreation combined with work at various health and wellness facilities culminated for her to establish Yoga Training (Touch), licensed since 2009 occurring after she returned from studying abroad in India (11 of 2008)!

Kathryn began volunteering with "at risk" youth while completing College courses including Medical Sociology and Health Psychology while working full-time. She continued volunteer efforts at a private preschool, public schools and has worked with parents with infants and gives (dana) the gift of YT(T) to environmental and Social Justice events. She holds Sessions by appointment for knowledgeable (jnana) processes (raja) for just rewards (karma) with reverance (bhakti) during physical practice (hatha) catering to individual needs. While in India Katie A. certified in Classical Ashtanga Yoga with Applied Yogic Sciences from the Pranava Yogadhama Therapy, Research and Education Centre, Mysore India🇮🇳 with Jaya Kumar Swamee Shree in the lineage of K. Pattabhi Jois the founder of Power Yoga.

Grateful to have established Yoga Training (Touch) as an E-RYT 200, Katie A. transitioned work space, became an RYT 500, completed Restorative Training in Palm Springs (2010) and Therapy Trainings in San Diego, Atlanta and Seattle (2011). Kathryn hopes her work as a Yoga Therapist will continue to be influenced by children; as a cooperative class agreed in answering the question, "What do you want to do when you grow up?" The unified response was, "I want to work for world peace!"

Work with private clients has been rewarding. In 2014 a Personalized Retreat option for patrons ((FOOD, MEMBERSHIP, PERSONALIZED RETREAT) interested in weekend intensives was added that evolved into support for Therepeutic Lifestyle Management; see

Through Yoga Alliance (https://www.yogaalliance.org/), a registry for yoga teachers she became a CEP developing instructional content; known as an expert in her field.

Kathryn Certified with the International Association of Yoga Therapists (C-IAYT) in April of 2017 having submitted rigerous proof of work accomplishments. In 2020 Katie provided Holistic Health: COVID Recommendations from the World Health Organization (WHO) workshop and Holistic Health Standing Practices, complete with Mudras, at the 406 Yoga Conference. Kathryn was invited to participate in Community Sessions during the 2021 Global Yoga Therapy Conference to share a Modern Mantra Meditation Assessment. Kathryn added Adventure Yoga Sessions that summer, expanding Yoga Hike, with Bike, SUP and Camp!

Grateful for YT(T) Developmental expansion, the effects of yoga, thankful to her supporters, able to begin again, ever more aware (samadhi) of, harmonizing responsibilities (Ashtanga), values of physical, emotional, mature, intelligent, bliss (Panc(h)a-Maya-Kosha) and principles of plexus-sentience (chakras)!

Kathryn passes on the World Health Organization (WHO) eight recomendations, in light of COVID/SARS and other viral disease to: social distance by 3 ft. (6' in MT), regularly wash hands (20 sec.), abstain from sugar drinks (eat fresh foods), abstain from smoking (take fresh air breaks), cough into your elbow (preferably a tissue), abstain from alcohol (without mind altering substances) and stand (tadasana) every thirty minutes (while awake).
